Last year I bought 3 scarves, 4 dish towels and a bunch of cat toys. The scarves and dish towels make great gifts. I've been thinking about getting a pillow or blanket this year as well.

The 14th Annual Maine Fiber Frolic, which is Maine's sheep and wool festival celebrating fiber, fiber animals and fiber arts.

Celebration of Fibers - Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers

The Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers will hold a showcase of members' work at 3705 Main Street in Philadelphia, PA. The exhibit features pieces from new and established artists. 

Hours are as follows:

Monday, March 24th 11 am – 4 pm
Tuesday, March 25th 11 am – 4 pm
Wednesday, March 26th 11 am – 3 pm 
Thursday, March 27th 11 am – 4 pm
Friday, March 28th 10 am – 8 pm / awards reception from 6 – 8 pm
Saturday, March 29th 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday, March 30th 10 am – 4 pm 

Parking is available across the street.

Fibres West - Surrey, BC

The Sixth Annual Fibres West will present spinning, weaving, felting, knitting, rug hooking, lace making and other related fibre crafts to the general public.                   

Fibres West will be held on the Cloverdale Exhibition Park Grounds, in the SHOW BARN building. Most Classes will be held in Shannon Hall. The Cloverdale Exhibition Grounds are located at 6050 176th Street, Surrey, BC. 

Adult admission $8.00, seniors and students with valid id $6.00, kids 13 and under free. CASH only at door. ATM on site.
