An Easy, Lovely Knit Scarf

An Easy, Lovely Knit Scarf

I really loved the first Capitol Hill Cowl Scarf that I knit, so I was inspired to make one in another yarn with a different color scheme and style. This one is Madeline Tosh Twist Light in Night Hawk, which I love as much as the first scarf! I'm so pumped about the neon green and purple together. I looked for this color combination for a few years. The yarn is 75% merino wool and 25% nylon that is hand dyed, so no two skeins - and no two scarves - are exactly the same.

The scarf is knit in the round and ends up with an approximate length of  55 inches (140 cm) around. It is fairly easy to knit. The finished scarf looks lovely worn long or doubled for a closer to the neck look.

I'll probably knit more scarves with the Capitol Hill Cowl Scarf Pattern. The possibilities for yarn to use are endless! If you knit one, tag me online. I'd love to see it!
